Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is a famous American model and actress. She is also a fashion designer model. Her modeling career began in the year 1990, and then moved into acting following appearances in television shows like Boy Meets World or High Incident. The film debut came in 1997's dramatic Nowhere. With American Beauty and American Pie her name was recognized for her roles. In the following years, she starred as a co-star in Loser (2000) alongside her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and later played the main role in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun, a independent drama from 2002, and the Trauma, a (2004) thrillers both prominent in her work. The year 2004, she starred in the HBO drama Six Feet Under. She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for 2005, as part of the Outstanding Ensemble.
